The Kangaroo Island Industry and Brand Alliance Board held a shared lunch, attended by Wendy Campana, Commissioner for Kangaroo Island, to welcome the International Business Skills for Mindanao Agribusiness Sector Fellowship Group. Group participants had a chance to meet with Board Members and stayed for a presentation outlining Brand Kangaroo Island, hosted by Tony Nolan, Chair, and Shauna Black, Brand Manager.

The group also visited other businesses and landmarks on the Island including Island Beehive, Ferguson Australia, Island Pure Sheep Dairy and KI Spirits.

This fellowship facilitates exposure to best practices on whole farm planning, business structures and relationships, risk management, food safety and advance in bio-technology. The programs also focuses on providing practical business skills for participants with an emphasis on branding, marketing and strategic thinking.

Participating fellows will be continuing their fellowship program around Australia in Adelaide, Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, until they depart on Saturday, 8 April.
