Today is the first day of our new association – the Kangaroo Island Business and Brand Alliance, following approval by members of the KI Industry and Brand Alliance and Business KI to amalgamate.
As with all new partnerships there are a number of formalities which will take some time to bed down and changes that won’t happen overnight.
All members will have received an email regarding your membership and payments – please check your “spam” and “promotions” tabs if you haven’t seen yours. For now, you need do nothing. You will be invoiced for your membership in due course or if you have registered for credit card payments that membership deduction will happen automatically.
Meanwhile, our new Board meets on Thursday July 4 to elects its chair and to attend to a number of other formalities, such as ABNs, bank accounts, signatories, to review ongoing projects, consider appointing extra board members and so on.
The new Board is comprised of four members each of the previous boards:
From KIIBA – Jayne Bates, Phillipa Holden, Alice Teasdale and Brett Miller
From BKI – Sharon Kauppila, Tony Willson, Maria Morgan and Cathleen Wallis.
We’ll report back to you after that meeting. For more details about the amalgamation, see this link Q&A for KIIBA-BKI amalgamation
In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact [email protected] and keep an eye on your emails for further information.
