Congratulations to Members of the Kangaroo Island Industry and Brand Alliance who took part in the South Australian Tourism Industry Council’s 2016 South Australian Tourism Awards.

Kangaroo Island was acknowledged at the awards ceremony in Adelaide on Friday night, with our own Seal Bay Conservation Park winning the top Gold Prize for Eco-tourism for the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources.

Tourism Kangaroo Island and its Gateway Visitor Information Centre also won the top Gold Prize for Visitor Information Services.

Kangaroo Island’s achievements didn’t stop there, with more outstanding medal winners and finalists including:

Self-Contained Accommodation Silver Medal: Sea Dragon Lodge

Tour and Transport Operators Silver Medal: Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari

Tourism Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries Silver Medal: Dudley Wines

Finalist: Kangaroo Island Marine Adventures
