Do you use Facebook to promote your Kangaroo Island-based business or community group? Do you take photographs around the Island and share them on Instagram? Would you like to learn how to reach your target audience and be more confident using these social media marketing tools?
You are invited to attend a FREE Social Media Workshop, presented by Heather Lesley, Social Media Coordinator for Authentic Kangaroo Island. Heather will be sharing practical tips and hints about how to leverage off their rapidly growing 65,000+ social media audience; as well as how to manage your own Facebook and Instagram activity as part of your overall marketing strategy.
Topics covered will include identification of your target audience; planning, creating and publishing your social media content; scheduling content to appear on your platforms; replying to comments on your social media page; and measuring the marketing benefits.
Attendees are asked to bring along their own modem; smartphone, tablet or laptop; notebook and pen. Free wi-fi will be available.
To register, please book your ticket via the Eventbrite website. Please RSVP by Monday, 3 April 2017.
This free workshop is funded by the Kangaroo Island Council in conjunction with the Kangaroo Island Social Media Alliance (KISMA) – a collaborative project of Kangaroo Island Industry and Brand Alliance (KIIBA); Tourism Kangaroo Island (TKI); and Kangaroo Island Food and Wine Association (KIFWA).
